Playing in the well known Collettes club, London, the team had a long and hard day. We thought almost running out of petrol 10 miles fom club was the most nerve racking experience but it got worse !! Pippa Green (Lansdown) Jan Ellis (David Lloyd) Louise Church (Redland) Wendy Thomas and Indira Barker (Redwood Lodge) all gave it their best shot with Wendy having the most success day , unbeaten in both matches, Pippa gave it a brilliant shot in a brutal game against an England ranked player and Inderra and Louise pushing their capable opponents but not quite managing a win. But team avoided relegation so all wells for next year !
